The 11th season of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship kicks off the 2025 motorsport calendar with the second round in Mexico City this Saturday, January 11.

The championship returns to Mexico City for the next chapter of the 2024/25 Formula E season, in front of one of the most passionate motorsport fan bases on the planet.

The 2025 Hankook Mexico City E-Prix promises high stakes and intense competition. Notably, the last two winners of this race went on to claim the championship title at the end of the season.

Reigning champion and last year’s winner in Mexico City, Pascal Wehrlein, aims to recover from a tough start in São Paulo, where he faced an eventful race.

Head-to-Head Competition

NEOM McLaren arrives in Mexico as the current leader of the World Teams’ Championship, buoyed by rookie Taylor Barnard’s podium finish in Round 1.
Jaguar TCS Racing is also in great form, with Mitch Evans delivering a spectacular victory in the season opener, and Jaguar also leading the newly established World Manufacturers’ Championship.

Mexico has been a cornerstone of the Formula E calendar since its debut in Season 2, hosting nine thrilling races to date.

Only Germany and the United States have hosted more races in the championship’s history. This year, the iconic Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, named in honor of legendary drivers Ricardo and Pedro Rodríguez, will once again set the stage for electrifying action at the 2025 Hankook Mexico City E-Prix.

The clockwise track layout remains unchanged from last season, which introduced a new chicane after Turn 8.

The total track length is 2.630 km, with the ATTACK MODE activation zone located on the outside of Turn 15, directly in front of the passionate crowd at the Foro Sol.
