Brady’s E1 team, owned by NFL legend Tom Brady, has been crowned champion of the inaugural UIM E1 World Championship, the first series of completely electric boat races.

After competing in five iconic cities around the world, including Jeddah, Venice, and Monaco, the Brady team clinched the championship by overcoming fierce competition from eight other teams.

The team faced rivals led by global superstars: Rafael Nadal, Will Smith, Didier Drogba, Sergio “Checo” Pérez, Virat Kohli, Marc Anthony, Steve Aoki, and Marcelo Claure.

“It’s incredible to have won the first E1 World Championship. I’m very proud of all the team members. Ben and Joe, our team directors, led the way by solving many problems, and our two drivers, Sam and Emma, supported each other, and their chemistry and the camaraderie of the entire team shone in all its splendor,” Brady stated.

Aboard the RaceBird, a cutting-edge electric boat with hydrofoil technology, Brady and his team managed to overcome the challenges posed by Westbrook Racing, backed by Will Smith, and Team Miami of Marc Anthony, powered by Magnus, who finished in second and third place, respectively.

Thus, they were crowned champions after achieving three victories throughout the season, finishing the inaugural edition of the championship with an 11-point lead over their closest competitor.

“I’m very proud of everyone this season for what we accomplished. I know we all love to win, which is why we go out and give our best every week. I’m really excited about what we achieved and I know there is much more to come, but I truly believe everyone should enjoy this victory until the start of the next season,” Brady concluded.
