Formula E and the FIA announced that they will unveil the highly anticipated GEN3 Evo race car on Thursday, April 25 during an exclusive evening launch in the run-up to the 2024 Monaco E-Prix.

As an evolution of the current GEN3 race car, the all-electric championship will raise the bar even higher with a car that will be pushed to the limit by the series’ world-class drivers during seasons 11 and 12.

The GEN3 Evo is set to deliver even more spectacular wheel-to-wheel racing. With enhanced performance features that will highlight Formula E and the FIA’s role in pioneering technology and sustainable motorsports, the GEN3 Evo is set to deliver a step-change in on-track action.

Jeff Dodds, CEO of Formula E, explained that they are not just launching a car, but continuing to shape the future of racing.

“This next version not only exemplifies our dedication to innovation and pushing the limits of technology, but also enhances our commitment to delivering exciting and competitive racing for our fans,” he noted.

The CEO of the electric series detailed that they are setting new performance standards that will intensify on-track rivalries and fan engagement, staying at the forefront of motorsports globally.

Following the launch, the next ABB FIA Formula E World Championship race will begin with the eighth round of the 2024 Monaco E-Prix on Saturday, April 27.
