McLaren XE has unveiled the design of its vehicle for the 2024 Extreme E season, offering a glimpse into the future of electric off-road racing. Embracing the brand’s distinctive orange and black color scheme, the ODDYSEY 21 from Woking is presented as a true work of art.

The vibrant orange color signifies the enduring energy and passion that have always characterized McLaren, while the sleek black elements contribute an air of elegance and sophistication. The addition of bright accents and refined details meets aesthetic standards and enhances the vehicle’s aerodynamics.

Attention can be focused on the incorporation of a pattern on the doors of the ODDYSEY 21, resembling a motherboard. This design choice adds a technological flair and also can be interpreted as a symbol of electric power coupled with technical sophistication.

McLaren’s Presence in 2024 Extreme E Season

Entering its third year in the all-electric off-road series, McLaren has proven its competitiveness in the previous two seasons with drivers Emma Gilmour and Tanner Foust, securing two podium finishes. Despite finishing the 2023 season in eighth place with 68 points, the team approaches the upcoming campaign.

Extreme E, a series committed to environmental consciousness and the promotion of electric mobility, continues to capture the attention of fans and the automotive industry alike. McLaren, with its design, aims to elevate the experience of electric off-road racing and to demonstrate a commitment to sustainability while striving for victory and podium success.
