This past weekend, Formula E witnessed one of the most dominant performances of season 9, starring Maximilian Guenther, as his efforts were rewarded when he took his first victory alongside the Maserati MSG Racing team.

In this way, Maserati, which joined Formula E for the new GEN3 era, celebrated its first victory in a single-seater world championship since Juan-Manuel Fangio’s legendary win at the Nürburgring in 1957, marking a triumphant return for the Italian brand and consolidating its position in the competitive world of electric racing.

Moreover, Guenther’s performance was impressive, as he took the victory starting from pole position, becoming the only driver to win from pole in the last 14 races. “A very proud moment. I’m over the moon with this win,” said Guenther after crossing the checkered flag in first.

At the age of 25, he once again demonstrated his skill and ability on the track, establishing himself as one of the most promising drivers in the all-electric single-seater championship.

On the other hand, in the current Formula E campaign, Maximilian Guenther has demonstrated his talent on several occasions, achieving his third podium appearance with this victory. Previously, he scored a great third place in front of his home crowd in Berlin, along with another podium in round 7 to score his first points of the season.

“It was great with another podium and good progress in the last few races. It’s fantastic. To get my first win here (with Maserati) in Jakarta is just outstanding. I’m very happy,” he assured.

“I know there will be tracks that suit us more and tracks that suit us less; we always try to maximize our package. We have been doing that in the last few races, and I am very proud,” he concluded.
