A new UCI E-MTB XC World Cup season is being prepared by the World e-Bike Series (WES), after a successful demonstration of competition, sustainability, gender equality and inclusion through its competitive format, which is attractive and interesting.

In fact, the same format will be maintained for 2023 season starting next May 20-21 in Monaco, as part of the tradition and custom of starting there. Thus, there will be another battle between great cyclists who will seek to win the absolute glory in their respective categories.

Each weekend will have two races, one per day and separate for men and women in terms of qualifying, ceremonies and podiums, despite the fact that they will all race together, line up on the same starting grid.

Despite qualifying separately, the races will place men and women on the same starting grid, fighting in their respective categories, but all together promoting gender diversity in each WES event. Regarding the circuit map, it will be revealed in the days prior to the competition.

The WES layouts are established after a deep study that contemplates several factors, among them the difficulty, combining surfaces such as mountain, coast and urban areas that add interesting additives in the races, so that it is up to the riders to adapt in the best possible way.

Finally, all this will obviously results in an individual and team winner, where the best rider and bike manufacturers are also awarded with a separate title.
