Since its foundation in 2014, the Formula E series set itself the vision of reaching all corners of the world to become a globally recognized competition, an item it is achieving with the endorsement of the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA).

In this regard, the electric single-seater series has closely monitored the preparations for the E-Prix of Hyderabad, India, with the aim of maintaining quality and safety standards in all the destinations it visits.

As part of the race that will take place on February 11, 2023, the organizers have prepared for this week tests on the 2.70-kilometer street circuit.

The test will be made up of two races, for which arduous work is being carried out on the selected track. One round of the Indian Racing League (IRL) is scheduled for November 19-20 and another for December 10-11. The IRL is a city racing championship consisting of six teams competing in a league format.

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA), besides fine-tuning details about the tarmac on which the Gen3 cars will jump, is also setting up spectator galleries with a capacity of around 7,000 people to watch the test races.

Formula E fans can now use the bookmyshow.com platform to book their tickets for the electrified competition.

The promoters of the sporting event plan to occupy up to four footbridges for spectators to reach their respective grandstands. The starting point of the race track is in front of the NTR Garden, from where it would pass through NTR Marg, IMAX Road and close at the starting point in a loop, covering a total length of 2.70 km.

Hyderabad ePrix will be the third round of the FIA-sanctioned World Championship with all-electric single-seater cars running alongside the Hussainsagar Lake at a top speed of 320 kmph.

The city will host the fourth of 17 races in Season 9 of the electric car motorsport championship, which will start in Mexico City on January 14, 2023.
