Formula E has just finished a successful “season seven”, but the category is already gearing up on all fronts to continue showing a high level of excitement and thrills to all spectators.

The campaign closed with an emotional victory at the last minute by Nyck de Vries, representing Mercedes, and promises more quality for the coming years with the introduction of the third generation (Gen3) cars.

A few days ago, the electric series announced that it will continue working with brake supplier, Brembo, and now reports that it has renewed for three years the partnership with Bosch for the entire technological boost of the single-seaters.

The German company has been working with Formula E since season 4 and reaffirmed their commitment to continue sharing their experience as an official partner of the FIA World Championship until season 10. With a shared goal of boosting electromobility, Bosch and the tournament are natural partners for innovation progress in this area.

Structure

The industry-leading Bosch software and hardware promote quality throughout all lines of electric mobility, particularly through a tailor-made vehicle management system, exemplified by their relationship with the Dragon Penske Autosport team.

The combined focus on technology and sustainable mobility delivery makes the partnership between Formula E and Bosch the kind of authentic, integrated collaboration.

“Each of our partners has a coordination with our common mission, and Bosch’s leadership role in accelerating the global electromobility agenda makes them the perfect partner for us,” said Jamie Reigle, Formula E CEO.

He assured that the German company is committed to promoting electric mobility through integrated marketing and technology initiatives to further showcase innovations in cities around the world.

Dr. Markus Heyn, member of the Bosch Board of Management, for his part, pointed out that electromobility is establishing itself as a core business area for the company.

“Electric cars with our components can already be found on roads all over the world. By continuing to play our role as an official sponsor of Formula E and supplier of proven motor racing technology, we are demonstrating that we are the number one partner for electric driving,” he emphasized.
