The Extreme E will show all phases of its sustainable message to the world

Extreme E continues to establish key partnerships to generate a whole pillar of sustainability, environmental protection plans and development of programs that help combat the climate crisis that affects planet earth.

On this occasion, the electric motorsport category, which is currently contesting the first season of its history, announced the union with the online sustainability platform Volta Future Positive to reinforce its vision of electrification, environment, equality and entertainment.

As detailed by Extreme E through a statement, Volta’s approach is to promote solutions and highlight the positive actions that can be taken to protect the ecosystem.

Both organizations will join forces to bring behind-the-scenes action, science and technology, as well as storytelling from the Legacy Program to the forefront through interviews with Extreme E’s world-class drivers, scientists, and partner projects, as well as articles. , news, podcasts, videos and contests.

The importance of spreading the message

Since its inception, the team that works for the Extreme E has been in charge of closing agreements with different platforms worldwide, so that the sporting event and its hopeful message reach all corners of the planet.

In that regard, Ali Russell, Marketing Director for Extreme E, stated: “We are delighted to be joining VOLTA on its journey to promote sustainability. The ethos of the site and its Founders Sam and Clare aligns so well with Extreme E so we are thrilled they are joining us to tell the stories of the championship.

“The platform provides a second home for so much content around science, emerging technologies, sustainability, the environment plus renewable energy, and the way they take these narratives and offer solutions by showcasing positive news is a joy to see,” he added.

For his part, Sam Farah, co-founder of Volta Future Positive, also expressed his satisfaction with working with the electric series: “Having had the opportunity to be on the ground with Extreme E, we have seen first-hand how committed they are to their fundamental principles especially through the series of lasting legacy projects. 

“This is why here at VOLTA we are excited and proud to be working alongside Extreme E during this unprecedented time in our planet’s history. By working together, sharing the amazing projects and people that make Extreme E go beyond just being a motorsport, we at VOLTA believe, together, this will empower, ignite and educate people to drive towards a sustainable community where we can all,” he said.

Following the success of the first two tests, the Extreme E returns to action at the Arctic X Prix, which will take place August 28-29 in Kangerlussaq, Greenland, highlighting the melting ice sheet and, at the same time, at the same time, it will support an educational program on the climate crisis in collaboration with Unicef.
