Formula E’s all-electric racing series has increased their television expansion to cover more than 150 countries around the world after signing deals with more than 40 broadcasters.

For this 2021 season, the first of the series as a world championship recognized by the FIA, is broadcast in more than 30 languages with 60 hours of live racing and 40 hours of pre-recorded programming.

In Europe, German broadcaster ProSiebenSat1 will broadcast all E-Prixes live with an exclusive presentation lineup featuring former Formula E driver, Daniel Abt.

Deals have also recently been signed with Discovery, Sky Italia and the BBC, while French broadcaster L’Equipe will show the races on its digital platform.

On the other hand, in the United States, Formula E’s partnership with CBS will broadcast two races for free, and the others will be available on the network’s pay-TV channel.

In Brazil, live coverage will be available on local channels for the first time, provided by Cultura and Globo, and in Latin America, Claro will offer full season coverage.

On the African continent, SuperSport will broadcast ePrix live in 50 territories with all sessions available on demand.

In Asia, Star Sports Select 2 and Disney + Hotstar will broadcast to India, while pay TV channel J Sports will cover Japan, with free broadcaster BS Fuji showing the highlights.

In China, the seventh season of the series airs on Sina Sports, Weibo, Hupu, Huya, Tencent Sports, Youku, and KuaiShou.

The highly anticipated 2021 season of Formula E has already started with many emotions in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia.
