Just one month away from its debut, E1 Series is expanding its horizons after announcing the incorporation of Team Brazil as a team, founded by technology entrepreneur Marcelo Claure, which will line up on the starting grid on February 2-3, 2024 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, for the first race in the history of the series.

In this way, Team Brazil will compete side by side with other teams owned by world-renowned personalities, including Tom Brady, Rafael Nadal, Marc Anthony, Steve Aoki, Sergio Perez, Didier Drogba and Virat Kohli.

As for the Team founder, Claure, he is an entrepreneur and investor with a proven track record of building leading companies and teams, with E1 Team Brazil representing Claure Group’s first foray into racing.

E1 Series Moves Toward Debut

The inaugural season will feature up to 10 teams, each vying for the title with the responsibility of selecting two drivers to share the driving duties across all events, where regulations state that each team must select a mixed driver line-up, ensuring equal opportunities.

After debuting in the Middle East, the championship calendar features races in several destinations: Venice, Italy, (May 11-12); Puerto Banús, in southern Spain (June 1-2); Geneva, Switzerland, (June 29-30); Monaco, (July 26-27); Rotterdam, Netherlands, (September 7-8) and the season finale in Hong Kong (November 9-10).
