E1 Series will mark a before and after with their first 100% electric boat category, created by Alejandro Agag and Rodi Basso. From the moment RaceBird was unveiled it caused a sensation. However, after seeing it physically, expectations have been far exceeded.

The world was introduced to the electric boat which has been so much talked about in recent months, being the Monaco Yacht Show the event selected to be at the height of a revelation of such magnitude, held on September 20.

This electrified boat will be the main character at the maritime races, which will undoubtedly be a spectacle in the world of competition and motorsports. Sophi Horne is the chief designer responsible for this work of art. The shape of the boat combines perfectly with its hydrofoil technology to avoid friction between the RaceBird’s structure and the water, allowing close chases between rivals without being affected by the wake produced by traveling at high speeds.

This marine vehicle is 7 meters long and 3 meters wide, weighing 800 kilograms, and capable of developing up to 50 knots of force, combining with the environment, according to Horne’s statement. “It was about designing something that goes with nature and not against it.”

Finally, the E1 Series aims to promote sustainable motorsport. However, the goal is to promote healthier marine environments, raising awareness about people and how important it is to take care of these ecosystems.
