Pure Electric debuts on the E-bike Market
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on Linkedin

Pure Electric is known on the sustainability market as a electric scooter manufacturer. This time, however, it has chosen to change a little its line, but sticking to the “green”, after introducing the Pure Flux One: a fully electrified bicycle, the first production of the brand in this field.

This company has seen how electric bicycles have been growing in the market as an option to move at a micro level, so it made a more interesting bet that goes beyond the skates, their main market strength, after unveiling the Pure Flux One to the public, aiming to join manufacturers with multiple sellers in this sector.

The bicycle’s price, as announced by its manufacturer, will be around 1,200 euros, becoming a quite affordable option to move around without polluting the environment.

Pure Electric’s features

Weighing 17.5 kilograms, the Pure Flux One is ready to leave a footprint in the sustainable micromobility market, providing easy pedaling mechanics, facilitating access in closed areas, or those difficult to reach for a larger vehicle.

The bicycle’s frame has been assembled entirely in aluminum and has an electrified power unit capable of generating up to 250 W of power together with a maximum torque of 35 Nm, being wheel-hub type (attached to the rear wheel hub). One of the details that draws attention is the lack of transmission, but this element has been replaced by a torque sensor that identifies the road surface, and consequently, increases or decreases the resistance when pedaling.

The battery has been manufactured by Samsung and reflects 252 Wh with lithium-ion cells for 40 kilometers of autonomy, requiring 5 hours to 100% charge. The braking system, on the other hand, has been assembled by wires instead of hydraulics.
