The E1 Series is here to stay. The first electric boat competition in the world that will start in 2023, promising fully sustainable large boats, great aerodynamic designs and a series of circuits around the world that offer a great sports spectacle, high speed and without affecting the planet with pollution.

Now, Kreisel Electric has entered the E1 Series to provide all its technology and knowledge about the electric batteries that will equip RaceBird boats in competition, being one of the most important allies that will be present in a new era of sustainable racing.

The batteries will use hydrofoil technology, managing to squeeze all their power to rise above the water level thanks to a maximum power of 150 kW that the 35 kWh part will develop, supplying a wide range of between charges while providing rapid acceleration, factor important for every racing competition.

Kreisel Electric will boost the E1 Series

In addition to all the benefits described, Kreisel Electric also has an immersion cooling technology that is used in both electric motorsports and boats, so much so that it serves as the exclusive powertrain supplier in the FIA World RX1e Racing Kit, in addition to have experience in marine project development.

These factors were combined with each other so that Rodi Basso, co-founder and executive director of the E1 Series, could not miss the opportunity to join forces with Kreisel Electric, ensuring in the statement that made the union between them official that both brands share the same vision of electrifying the boats of the future, making the choice quite obvious.

“As an engineer, I am very excited to be working alongside leaders in their field to offer an electric motor boat and push the limits of performance capabilities.”
