Following a positive and outstanding chemistry between Klara Andersson and Nasser Al-Attiyah, ABT Cupra XE has decided to confirm them as drivers for Extreme E season 3, with a view to fight at the top of the table through a combination of experience, veteran, youth and talent.

Andersson will be full-time for the first time in the team, after two solid performances in the previous campaign, where she showed what she is capable of behind the wheel of the ODYSSEY 21. The Swedish driver stood out on the closing of the 2022 season in Chile (podium) and Uruguay (victory), respectively.

“I’m very excited to join ABT CUPRA XE full-time for Extreme E in 2023. It’s an amazing team: I’ve already done two races replacing Jutta (Kleinschmidt), and they went very well, so racing alongside Nasser will be a pleasure again. He’s an amazing driver and an amazing person in general,” Andersson said.
