The Extreme E season one finale will bring an epic battle at Jurassic X Prix, evidenced throughout the races: Rosberg X Racing vs X44. However, beyond these two title contenders there are other things at stake for the rest of the competitors making life into the category.

At the bottom of the table, SEGI TV Chip Ganassi Racing, Veloce Racing and Xite Energy Racing have shown great moments throughout the opening campaign of the 100% electrified off-road division. Therefore, the three teams will try to finish at the top of the table, promising a denouement full of action, adrenaline and speed.

The maximum points total for the season finale in Dorset is 42 points. SEGI TV Chip Ganassi Racing will be expectant about what can happen, as in the past Enel X Island X Prix they showed enough potential to lead a race and even win it, but Sara Price’s unfortunate puncture ended those options.

“I think we’re going to do what we’ve always done, and not just duck our heads, but do the best we can. Last time we were able to show the speed of our team and we have full confidence heading into Dorset. We know we are capable of winning and securing a good podium result if we execute,” said Price.

Veloce Racing has also shown flashes of speed during the season. One of the most striking details is the change in driver rotation. At one time, Emma Gilmour replaced Jamie Chadwick so that he could devote his full time to the W Series. Now she is back but will not be driving alongside Stéphane Sarrazin as a partner but with Lance Woolridge.

“Luck has not always been on our side this year, but we have overcome those challenges to achieve amazing results and show impressive pace, all from a team that is in its first year of competition,” said Daniel Bailey, CEO of Veloce Racing.

Finally, there is Xite Energy Racing, a team that so far has not been able to make it to a final race. With Oliver Bennett and Christine GZ as drivers behind the wheel, the squad will be looking for a good result to get them out of the bottom of the overall standings.

“We are very interested and excited for Round 5, especially as it is a home race. Obviously, we’ve missed the final a few times this season due to car problems, so we’re hoping to look for something positive at the race,” said Oliver Bennett.
