Last Saturday, July 29th, Round 3 of the FIM E-Xplorer World Cup took place under a beautiful landscape of volcanic mountains in the Auvergne region, in the center of France. There, Gravity climbed to the top of the podium to sign its first victory in the series.

Robbie Maddison’s Madwill team took second place, while the championship leaders, MIE, took third place on this occasion, in a race where the weather changed drastically with heavy rain during the first rounds and bright sunshine during the finals.

The circuit in Vollore-Montagne offered a thrilling narrow and winding course, full of tricky obstacles and spectacular jumps, being the perfect setting for close racing that delighted everyone present in this region of France, where off-road motorcycles are one of the main attractions for the town.

The Winners

Gravity exhibited its delight in achieving a home victory, thanks to the outstanding performance of Camille Chapeliere and Kiara Fontensi, where the latter, was delighted with the result, as the six-time FIM Motocross World Champion came in as a replacement for rider Tjasa Fifer, who had other commitments.

“What a great event. Obviously, I had a great teammate in Camille and we worked really well together from the start of the weekend. I’m thrilled for the team and to be able to win at their home event,” Fontesi said.

“It was really close. Every race was very close and it could have gone to any of the eight teams that competed today. Our bike suited the track, and as teammates, we really seemed to complement each other,” she finished.
