While it is true that Formula E is a competition that does not accumulate years of tradition like other tournaments, the electric series is already starting to set interesting bases and records by the drivers participating in the competition.

The category celebrated its 100th circuit anniversary in Seoul last season and what is even more impressive is that there are now a handful of racers who have passed the 100-race milestone.

Lucas di Grassi, one of the standard bearers the sport has has played an important role, even before he had his first race. The Brazilian was one of the first to drive the Spark-Renault SRT_01E, testing it on a circuit in France just under a year before the inaugural event at the 2014 Beijing E-Prix.

He also won that first Formula E race, after a last-corner fight between Nico Prost and Nick Heidfeld dramatically knocked them both out of the lead.

A Standard Bearer

In addition to his 40 podiums and four Julius Baer Pole Positions, di Grassi also won the drivers’ title in Formula E season 3. Although Buemi led the standings for most of that season, he managed to overturn the championship results during the nail. -mordering the 2017 Montreal E-Prix weekend to take home the title.

He has been present at every Formula E race and participated in all 104 races in the championship’s history. However, a problem with the Mahindra‘s rear suspension caused di Grassi to miss his first start last time out in Cape Town.

Sébastien Buemi: 103 Races

Despite having the same number of wins as di Grassi with 13, Buemi has a slightly higher win percentage, having started 103 races during his incredible Formula E career.

Representing Renault in its dominant era in the early stages of the championship, winning back-to-back team titles in the first three seasons, he has 29 podiums and 15 pole positions to his credit.

Jean-Éric Vergne

DS PENSKE‘s Frenchman is the only Frenchman to have won the Formula E crown twice and the first to have done so in succession. Securing back-to-back titles in Seasons 4 and 5, Vergne made his Formula E debut a little later than others on this list.

Starting his career at the 2014 E-Prix Julius Baer Punta del Este, the third round of that first season, he has participated in every race since, 103 in total.

Sam Bird: 102 Races

He is the only one in this ranking list who has not won a Formula E Championship. Since taking part in the first Formula E race in Beijing, the Briton has some truly impressive stats to his name.

In addition to his six poles and 23 podiums, he also scored 11 laurels, which is no easy feat in such a competitive field and puts him third on the all-time winners list with Vergne.

Most Recent

With 101 starts to his name, TAG Heuer Porsche’s Antonio Félix da Costa is the latest member of the 100 club. Also making his debut in season 1, the Portuguese racer was not present at the first race, but has been part of the Formula E family since the second race.

Although he missed a few turns early on, including the finale of the London doubleheader in 2015, da Costa has distinguished himself as one of Formula E’s key drivers.
