Fans of electric competition and sustainable mobility will be able to see FIA Formula E cars live from the circuit again, as it was recently known that the E-Prix of Puebla 2021 will have the presence of fans in the stands to close the final races of the championship.

It should be noted that the Monaco E-Prix marked a milestone this season after becoming the first circuit to receive fans. In fact, nothing like this has been seen since the last Marrakech e-Prix in 2020. Now, for the second time, the pilots will feel the warmth of the people supporting them as they pursue their objectives on the track in Aztec territory.

Between now and the rest of the season, the presence of spectators in the stands is assured, at least from the FIA, as Alberto Longo, co-founder of the category, has made known, leaving the final approval to the governments of the respective countries that host the E-Prix, although on Mexican soil it is 100% safe for appointments on June 19 and 20, respectively.

Fans will return to Formula E circuits for the second time

In this way, the peculiar Autodromo Miguel E. Abed will continue with the action of the FIA Formula-E world championship, which comes from the presence of the victory of the Portuguese Antonio Felix da Costa on the street asphalt of Monaco who had several candidates to win, but in the end it featured the DS Techeetah driver overtaking Mitch Evans on the last lap of heart attack to finish as the victor.

Now, Evans will try to obtain the victory again in Mexican territory, just as he did in the 2020 edition after a practically perfect start that took out the chances of any rival throughout the circuit to reach the highest step of the podium, accompanied by da Costa and the Swiss Sebastian Buemi.

It is important to remember that the battle for the drivers’ championship is red hot with the Dutch Robin Frijns at the top (62 points), followed by his compatriot Nyck de Vries (57 points), Mitch Evans (54 points) and Antonio Felix da Costa ( 52 points). On the other hand, the constructors’ title is not far behind, Mercedes leads the table with 105 units, followed closely by Jaguar Racing (103 points) and Techeetah (98 points).
