Mar\u00eda Herrera ha irrumpido en la MotoE como la \u00fanica mujer piloto de la categor\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica. En el inicio de temporada, la espa\u00f1ola ha tenido que sortear varios obst\u00e1culos como una operaci\u00f3n de s\u00edndrome compartimental en su brazo derecho. Sin embargo, no se amilana y estuvo a la altura en los dos primeros grandes premios de la zafra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En una entrevista concedida a Trek, firma de bicicletas estadounidense de la que es embajadora, Herrera revel\u00f3 c\u00f3mo afronta el camino en el motociclismo el\u00e9ctrico en una categor\u00eda donde predominan ampliamente los hombres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHe notado que no me ve\u00edan tanto como piloto, sino como un gancho de marketing por el hecho de ser chica. Soy buena piloto y lo estoy demostrando, pero eso me ha frenado mucho\u201d, relat\u00f3. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trabas en el camino<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Adem\u00e1s de las dificultades por ser una mujer que intenta abrirse paso en el motociclismo, Herrera tambi\u00e9n record\u00f3 momentos complicados en su trayectoria. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEl momento m\u00e1s duro fue cuando estaba ganando en el Campeonato de Espa\u00f1a de Velocidad (CEV) contra Fabio Quartararo, que ahora est\u00e1 en MotoGP, e iba a saltar al Campeonato del Mundo. Por caerme en la \u00faltima carrera no me hicieron contrato, a pesar de que me lo hab\u00edan prometido, y qued\u00e9 segunda del campeonato. All\u00ed pens\u00e9: \u201cnunca me valoran\u201d. Vi que se frenaba a las mujeres y ten\u00eda que luchar con el hecho de que ten\u00eda poco material y me costaba conseguir un equipo bueno para poder ganar\u201d, dijo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Ardua preparaci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    A pesar de las adversidades, la espa\u00f1ola no para en su camino de alcanzar las metas que se ha propuesto, y realiza un duro entrenamiento que la lleve a la cima. \u201cActualmente he hecho hipertrofia para ganar un poco de masa muscular, ya que necesitaba m\u00e1s peso para MotoE. Tambi\u00e9n hacemos mucho ejercicio de alta intensidad en muy poco tiempo para que en carrera las pulsaciones no se disparen tanto\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Explic\u00f3 que trabajar en bicicleta tambi\u00e9n ha sido un aspecto importante en su preparaci\u00f3n. \u201cEntreno ciclismo tres veces por semana para definir un poco. Ahora estamos haciendo series, tanto de carretera con la Domane como de monta\u00f1a con la Top Fuel, para pasar de 120 a 180 pulsaciones por minuto\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \u201cMe gusta cuando me mandan un entrenamiento en bici, porque me despeja y disfruto con mis amigos en la grupeta. Me llaman la reina de los caballitos, porque siempre los estoy haciendo por la monta\u00f1a, combinando equilibrio y concentraci\u00f3n\u201d, destac\u00f3 Herrera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Subray\u00f3 que la constancia y las ansias de ganar son las virtudes que la caracterizan para brillar en las pistas. \u201cSoy muy disciplinada. Siempre he confiado en la disciplina y el trabajo, que es lo que me ha dado las armas para ganar y estar al mejor nivel\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \u201cSoy muy competitiva y siempre quiero ganar, incluso si voy a los bolos . Pero en mi vida diaria me lo tomo un poquito menos en serio, porque ya estoy muy centrada en mi carrera como piloto y necesito despejarme y dejar la presi\u00f3n aparte\u201d, finaliz\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
