En 2009, lleg\u00f3 a la F\u00f3rmula Uno tras llamar la atenci\u00f3n de Toro Rosso, quien firm\u00f3 con \u00e9l m\u00e1s tarde ese mismo a\u00f1o y as\u00ed Buemi se convirti\u00f3 en el primer piloto suizo en competir en la F\u00f3rmula Uno desde 1995.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sigui\u00f3 conduciendo para Toro Rosso hasta el final de la temporada 2011, cuando hizo equipo con Jean Eric Vergne. A pesar de no haber tenido otras apariciones con el equipo, Buemi mantiene su conexi\u00f3n con Red Bull como piloto de reserva.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-un-todoterreno\">Un todoterreno<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s de competir en la Formula E, Buemi tambi\u00e9n participa en el World Endurance Championship\/WEC con Toyota, donde gan\u00f3 el campeonato mundial en 2014. Adem\u00e1s, consigui\u00f3 un primer lugar en la carrera Le Mans 24 Hours en 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despu\u00e9s de conseguir tres t\u00edtulos de campeonato con su equipo anterior Renault e.dams, Buemi se pas\u00f3 al equipo e.dams, que adquiri\u00f3 el nuevo nombre de Nissan e.dams en su temporada debut en la Formula E junto al piloto novato ,Oliver Rowland. La dupla llev\u00f3 a la escuadra a la cuarta plaza en las clasificaciones de equipos, a solo un lugar de subir al podio.
