A comienzos de este a\u00f1o, Catie Munnings y Klara Andersson<\/strong> se unieron al equipo de Extreme E<\/mark><\/a> <\/strong>durante el retorno de la serie a Groenlandia<\/strong>, con el objetivo de inspeccionar el circuito y contribuir al continuo desarrollo del Legacy Programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Este viaje signific\u00f3 la tercera ocasi\u00f3n<\/strong> en que el campeonato se llev\u00f3 a cabo en suelo groenland\u00e9s. Durante 2022, en compa\u00f1\u00eda de los pilotos Kevin Hansen y Hedda Hos\u00e5s<\/strong>, Extreme E<\/strong> efectu\u00f3 otro viaje a la ubicaci\u00f3n de la segunda capa de hielo m\u00e1s grande del planeta. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

En la isla m\u00e1s grande del mundo, el Legacy Programa<\/strong> de Extreme E <\/strong>est\u00e1 en pleno desarrollo, englobando una serie de iniciativas implementadas en las escuelas locales<\/strong> de Kangerlussuaq <\/strong>y sus alrededores, acciones que forman parte de los efectos positivos que el campeonato genera en la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Extreme E: Legacy Programme<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

El programa ha involucrado al 85% de los estudiantes<\/strong> de octavo a d\u00e9cimo grado de Groenlandia, inspirando a las mentes j\u00f3venes a convertirse en agentes de cambio <\/strong>para la acci\u00f3n clim\u00e1tica. Dentro de las dem\u00e1s iniciativas, el equipo realiz\u00f3 una visita a la escuela que hab\u00eda sido equipada con paneles solares en asociaci\u00f3n con XITE ENERGY Racing <\/strong>y myenergi durante la temporada inaugural. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

En la actualidad, la instituci\u00f3n cuenta con un panel solar de 5 kW instalado en el suelo<\/strong>, acompa\u00f1ado por un sistema de almacenamiento de bater\u00eda de 5,2 kWh<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gracias a esta implementaci\u00f3n, la escuela logr\u00f3 hacer la transici\u00f3n desde el uso de generadores di\u00e9sel<\/strong> hasta operar completamente desconectada de la red el\u00e9ctrica, funcionando exclusivamente con energ\u00eda solar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Otro componente fue la introducci\u00f3n de karts el\u00e9ctricos<\/strong> a la escuela en colaboraci\u00f3n con la Federaci\u00f3n Danesa de Deportes de Automovilismo <\/strong>(DASU) y el municipio de Qeqqata y Kalaanni Teknikkimik Ilinniarfik en 2021. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
