Aunado a su fascinante actividad deportiva, el prop\u00f3sito de la F\u00f3rmula E es construir un legado importante en materia de sostenibilidad y transici\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica y tecnol\u00f3gica a trav\u00e9s del deporte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Los altos \u00edndices de contaminaci\u00f3n y calentamiento global han generado preocupaci\u00f3n en los promotores de la categor\u00eda, situaci\u00f3n que los ha llevado a construir alianzas clave para contribuir con el medio ambiente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Una de las asociaciones fundamentales que ha concretado la F\u00f3rmula E es con el Fondo de las Naciones Unidas para la Infancia (Unicef). Se estima que  2.000 millones de ni\u00f1os viven en zonas donde los niveles de contaminaci\u00f3n atmosf\u00e9rica superan las normas de la Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de la Salud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Considerando dichas cifras, la serie de monoplazas el\u00e9ctricos y la instituci\u00f3n emprendieron una campa\u00f1a para destacar el impacto que la contaminaci\u00f3n atmosf\u00e9rica tiene en los ni\u00f1os para sensibilizarlos e impulsar acciones para mejorarla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Formula E y Unicef se unieron en 2021 para apoyar el Fondo para un Medio Ambiente Seguro y Saludable del organismo de derechos del ni\u00f1o, cuyo objetivo es crear un entorno sostenible, seguro y limpio para ellos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00bfEn qu\u00e9 consiste la campa\u00f1a?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

La campa\u00f1a est\u00e1 sustentada en un cortometraje llamado \u201cTake a Breath\u201d, protagonizado por el actor y embajador de Unicef, Tom Hiddleston.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTake a Breath es fundamental para concienciar sobre la contaminaci\u00f3n del aire y las formas en que todos podemos actuar para reducirla\u201d, explic\u00f3 la Directora de Sustentabilidad de la Formula E, Julia Palle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCon m\u00e1s de siete millones de muertes prematuras atribuidas al aire contaminado anualmente, se necesita m\u00e1s educaci\u00f3n y acci\u00f3n para que todos podamos vivir en un entorno m\u00e1s limpio y seguro. Los ni\u00f1os son los menos responsables del cambio clim\u00e1tico y, sin embargo, soportar\u00e1n la mayor carga de su impacto\u201d, a\u00f1adi\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por su parte, Hiddleston destac\u00f3 que el aire debe ser protegido para el futuro. \u201cUna generaci\u00f3n global de ni\u00f1os crecer\u00e1 en un mundo m\u00e1s peligroso e incierto debido a nuestro clima cambiante. La Formula E y Unicef se han unido para crear Take a Breath, un cortometraje que pretende concienciar y destacar la importancia del aire limpio, para conseguir un mundo mejor y m\u00e1s seguro para todos los ni\u00f1os\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El video incluye poderosas voces de ni\u00f1os y j\u00f3venes, que expresan las razones de su preocupaci\u00f3n por el cambio clim\u00e1tico.
