Hace algunas semanas, WES anunci\u00f3 el calendario oficial de la UCI E-MTB XC World Cup<\/span><\/a>. Varias novedades y noticias interesantes acompa\u00f1aron dicha revelaci\u00f3n. Nuevos circuitos se apoderar\u00e1n de la competici\u00f3n, al mismo tiempo en que se estrenar\u00e1 un nuevo formato de carrera el cual tiene a los aficionados expectantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El legendario circuito de <\/em>Spa-Francorchamps recibir\u00e1 toda la acci\u00f3n, adrenalina y velocidad de esta categor\u00eda sostenible, siendo uno de los escenarios m\u00e1s atractivos que visitar\u00e1 la serie. Sin embargo, antes de admirar la competici\u00f3n en s\u00ed, es necesario conocer exactamente c\u00f3mo funciona el formato con el cual los ciclistas intentar\u00e1n alcanzar la gloria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El campeonato se correr\u00e1 bajo un doble formato de carrera, donde la qualirace <\/em>establecer\u00e1 el orden de los ciclistas previo a cada v\u00e1lida, dos veces por fin de semana. La diversidad seguir\u00e1 formando parte de la misma, donde hombres y mujeres correr\u00e1n juntos. Los primeros 50 clasificados de cada g\u00e9nero formar\u00e1n parte de la siguiente carrera del WES UCI E-MTB XC World Cup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El recorrido de circuito pista se dar\u00e1 a conocer previo a cada carrera. Una gran combinaci\u00f3n entre monta\u00f1a, costa y zonas urbanas garantizar\u00e1 un accionar lleno de adrenalina y pruebas por superar. Adem\u00e1s, existen premios individuales que se entregar\u00e1n en cada carrera:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WES Holeshot<\/strong>: Se lo llevar\u00e1 el piloto m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido en la salida de cada carrera tras pasar por la primera curva<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por supuesto, al final de la temporada habr\u00e1 un campe\u00f3n individual y por equipos. Sin embargo, si un fabricante de bicicleta suministra veh\u00edculos a m\u00e1s de un equipo tambi\u00e9n optar\u00e1 por un t\u00edtulo a parte. De igual forma suceder\u00e1 con los motoristas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ahora, a partir del 1 de agosto, los 30 mejores ciclistas (15 hombres y 15 mujeres) en la clasificaci\u00f3n general del WES UCI E-MTB XC World Cup se ganar\u00e1n el derecho de participar en la carrera del UCI Mountain Bike World Championships, a realizarse del 24 al 28 de agosto en Francia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Acerca del WES<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

WES World E-Bike Series naci\u00f3 en M\u00f3naco, en 2019 para organizar y promover la primera competencia internacional de bicicletas exclusivamente el\u00e9ctricas. En 2020, la categor\u00eda dio el paso al nivel superior al recibir el t\u00edtulo de la primera Copa del Mundo de Cross-Country de E-Mountain Bike. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

E-Cross-Country (E-XC) es la disciplina principal de WES, aunque WES Events tambi\u00e9n puede presentar carreras de E-Gravity, competencias de pista urbana y paseos amateur con profesionales, llamados Ride WES.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
