Sin embargo, su labor trasciende m\u00e1s all\u00e1 del traslado, pues el Dr. Giuseppe Aulicino, cient\u00edfico de la Universidad de Napoli Parthenope, Italia, ha estado trabajando sobre sus instalaciones investigando acerca del cambio clim\u00e1tico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Espec\u00edficamente, los estudios se basan en el derretimiento del hielo en zonas polares que se genera debido a las temperaturas cada vez m\u00e1s altas que alcanza el planeta. Esta es una clara se\u00f1al de que nuestro clima est\u00e1 cambiando. El hielo derretido hace que se agregue m\u00e1s agua dulce al agua de mar sobre la regi\u00f3n \u00e1rtica, como a lo largo de la costa de Groenlandia, que desemboca en el Atl\u00e1ntico norte\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abEl agua dulce agregada hace que el agua del mar sea menos densa, lo que influye en los patrones de las corrientes oce\u00e1nicas y potencialmente altera el equilibrio de la circulaci\u00f3n termohalina global. Los sat\u00e9lites nos ayudan a monitorear estos cambios e investigar qu\u00e9 los est\u00e1 causando\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>E-SWIMMING&nbsp;trabaja directamente con sat\u00e9lites, incluyendo la tecnolog\u00eda en su m\u00e1xima expresi\u00f3n para luchar ante las adversidades. Hemos recolectado 78 muestras de agua superficial en aproximadamente 4.000 millas n\u00e1uticas.
