Envision Racing took very seriously to be part of a 100% green category such as the ABB FIA Formula E, because for the eighth season, green will be the team’ main color after betting on a rebranding in order to refresh lines and adapt to the format they will have to assume, since Envision Group became the absolute owner.

Lots of green and blue will decorate the single-seater aesthetics of the team paying tribute to planet Earth, sustainability and literally executing a ‘race against climate change’.

“The new design of our Formula E car celebrates Envision Group’s ownership and recognizes its relentless ambition to accelerate the global transition to net zero. We are proud to be owned by one of the world’s leading, most sustainably innovative companies and it will inspire Envision Racing’s continued success,” said Sylvain Filippi, CEO.

The new car design was unveiled during the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26). Additionally, Envision used the occasion to launch the world’s first two-seater electric racing car alongside a Formula E Gen2 single-seater replica made from recycled waste in partnership with Glasgow City Council (Scotland) and the UK government’s ”Together for Our Planet” campaign.

About Envision Racing

Owned by leading digital energy company Envision Group, Envision Racing is one of the founding and leading teams of the FIA Formula E World Championship: a competition that is more than a racing series, it’s a battle for the future. Powered by pure electricity, they pave the way for the cars of tomorrow.

The team took part at the inaugural race of the series held in Beijing and has gone on to compete in every race to date. During that time, the team has scored more than 800 points, including 11 race wins and 26 podium finishes, making it one of the highest point scorers of all time.
