ACE Championship is a new single-seater electric racing series announced months ago, which aims to prepare drivers, mechanics and engineers for long-term sustainable success and empower them on their path to advancement.

With varied pathways open to all backgrounds, all participants will gain real-life experience, teamwork and skills in the competitive environment of electric car racing, and will be able to participate at all levels, preparing for roles in Formula E and beyond.

“It’s important to create a talent progression pathway for the world of electric motorsport,” says Nick Heidfeld, a former German Formula 1 driver serving ACE Championship as a development driver.

Dual Series

ACE Championship will have two categories: Championship and Challenger. The former will be the highest level, requiring even greater engineering skill and guidance due to increased power, where strategy, race management and energy control are key aspects that will determine success in the competitions.

On the other hand, the second will offer a space as an entry-level where young drivers can hone their skills in single-seater racing after their karting experience. This simplified sports format focuses on improving technique, mastering technology and promoting collaboration between drivers and engineers.

The championship will establish its own ‘Powerpark’, an exciting dedicated motorsports ‘campus’ that will become the epicenter of all technical and logistical activities for the two categories, hosting the entire paddock between events.

In addition, state-of-the-art facilities will be provided for the training of drivers, who will be able to hone both their physical and mental skills, thus reaching their full potential. They will also complete educational programs and receive training in key areas such as media, marketing and promotion.

Finally, the Powerpark will house training facilities for young engineers and mechanics, who will acquire skills on and off the track. This training center will be an exceptional venue that will foster careers in all areas of the automotive industry and provide career opportunities in a variety of disciplines.
